  • Except a college aged person is no longer a child. If we pay for their education as children, why should we also give them a discount for their adult education?

  • I definitely agree with you. I would prefer to not pay taxes for anyone here illegally. However, my taxes DO currently support the children of illegal immigrants. I do NOT want them to also support adult children of illegal immigrants.

  • It is one thing to pay for children whose parents do not pay taxes to get an education, however once the illegal child is an adult, I do not feel as though they should qualify if they still aren't paying taxes.

  • I think that if your parents pay taxes, then you should get the same benefit as other taxpayers. If your parents did not pay taxes, then perhaps you should postpone college and work to pay the taxes for a few years, then get the benefits.

  • Is it just me or does $2.95 for 3 cups of coffee that you brew yourself not seem like any kind of deal? Or $10 - $15 for a pound of coffee??? I pay about $4 for a pound of Eight O'Clock coffee and I get way more than 3 cups out of it.

  • If companies would actually fire people instead if "eliminating" positions, they might have a leg to stand on in denying unemployment benefits. I work for a large corporate real estate company and I swear, incompetence, excessive absenteeism, blatant disrespect for superiors, etc.

  • I thought in vitro fertilization was very expensive, that is why they put more than one embryo in at a time, to increase the chance of one taking, and hopefully eliminating the need to pay for more than one time....

  • No guilt here either, and I didn't vote for him because African American's "deserve it". He clearly was the smartest person that ran for President. I don't know about all of you, but I'd really, really, really like for the leader of the free world to be smarter than me....just this once.

  • I work for a service provider for Wachovia/Wells Fargo. As a condition of my employment (part of my salary), I am supposed to receive a 5% bonus, based on my performance. My performance has been nothing short of perfection, yet our bonues are on hold due to the transition.
